INTRODUCTION

TAG Shield Nano TiO2 Anti-Microbial Coating

TAG Shield is a Nano TiO2 progressive purification system based on photocatalytic effect designed to kill pathogens such as bacteria, microbes and viruses which are a common cause of diseases, foul odors and mold. TAG Shield when applied on any materials including organic matters and exposed to UV rays, decomposes 99.9% of pathogens present in the area.

Common sterilizing products can kill the majority of bacteria and microbes, however, right after sterilization, the pathogens resume reproduction and soon those numbers are back to where it was and continues to grow.

Nano-sized TAG Shield crystalizes when in come in contact with the surface and forms a coating that durable and can last up to 365 days. The photocatalytic effect is similar to electrolysis. It breaks down the molecules of water into hydrogen and hydroxide, destroying membranes of bacteria and microbes and the structural elements of viruses causing them to decompose or loose structural and functional integrity.

TAG Shield is completely safe and non-toxic and designed to purify surface from bad smells, disease causing pathogens, bacteria and viruses, VOCs and prevents fungus and mold growth.

TUV-SUD TEST REPORT

An efficacy test was conducted by TUV-SUD on TAG Shield effects against Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli. Results after 24 hours showed 99.99% efficiency in eliminating both bacteria.

FAQS

 

DO I NEED TO CLEAN THE SURFACE BEFORE APPLYING TAG SHIELD AND HOW DO I CLEAN THE SURFACE AFTER THE COATING?

YES. The surface needs to be clean and free from dust and oil before TAG Shield can be applied.
However, after coating is applied, use WATER for cleaning and avoid disinfectants. Try to avoid sharp objects wherever possible.

CAN I APPLY TAG SHIELD ON MY ELECTRONIC DEVICE?

YES, however, for application of electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, keyboards, etc... It is recommended to use the spray bottle and a clean towel. Spray on the device from a distance of approximately 15-20cm and then wipe off the excess with a clean dry cloth or paper towel.

HOW LONG DOES THE COATING TAKES TO DRY AND CURE?

Depending on the environment, it normally takes 30 mins or less to air dry and will take at least 24 hours to cure and harden. It is recommended that TAG Shield be applied in the night and allow it to dry and cure overnight.

HOW LONG WILL TAG SHIELD LAST ON THE SURFACE?

TAG Shield can lasts up to 365 days depending on the environment. We recommend to re-apply every 90 days for high touch points like tables, door knobs, railings, keypads, car interior etc. As for home and offices, we provide a swap test 6 months after application to ensure coating is still effective.
